Koala sounds for kids
SaysHrrnk
What sound does a koala make?
A koala bellows. It is a surprise: male koalas make a deep, loud snore-and-belch sound, much lower than you would expect from an animal their size. Koalas sleep for up to twenty hours a day, so most of the time they are very quiet.
Try it together
Hug a tree (or a parent) like a koala, snore quietly, then wake with a deep “hrrnk”.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
