Numbers for toddlers
By Dmytro Syrykh, the parent who makes Kidster
These are the numbers one to twenty in Kidster, each spoken by a real voice. Tap one to hear it. Saying the numbers in order is a song before it is counting: a child can recite one to ten long before they understand that the last number said is how many there are.
Numbers 1–10 are free in Kidster; 11–20 come with Premium.

Teaching tips
- Count things your child can touch, one tap per thing. Touching is what turns the song into counting.
- Stop at three for a while. Knowing what “three” means is a bigger step than reciting to twenty.
- Count everyday things out loud: stairs, buttons, grapes. Small, frequent counting beats long sessions.
- The teens are hard in most languages because they don’t follow the pattern. Expect “eleventeen” and smile.
