Cow sounds for kids
SaysMoo
What sound does a cow make?
A cow moos. The proper word for the sound is “lowing”. Every cow has her own voice, and a mother and her calf can pick each other’s moo out of a whole field of cows. Cows moo more when they are hungry, when they are looking for their calf or when they want to come in from the field.
Try it together
“Moo” is one of the first animal sounds a toddler can say. Moo low and slow together, like a sleepy cow.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
