Dog sounds for kids
SaysWoof
What sound does a dog make?
A dog barks: woof! Dogs bark to say hello, to warn that someone is coming or because they want to play. They also whine when they want something, growl when they want to be left alone and howl when they hear a siren. One breed, the basenji, hardly barks at all and yodels instead.
Try it together
Bark loud like a big dog, then tiny like a puppy, and let your child decide which dog is at the door.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
