Crocodile sounds for kids
SaysGrrrr
What sound does a crocodile make?
A crocodile growls, hisses and bellows. Its growl is a deep, rumbling sound from the throat that is more felt than heard. Baby crocodiles chirp from inside their eggs when they are ready to hatch, and their mother digs them out and carries them to the water in her mouth. Grown-up alligators bellow so deeply that the water above their backs shakes and dances.
Try it together
Snap your arms open and shut like a crocodile’s jaws, then chirp like a baby in its egg.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
