Seal sounds for kids
SaysAoooo
What sound does a seal make?
A seal moans, wails and barks. Many seals make a long, rising moan that can sound a little like a wolf howling across the water, and some sing underwater. The loud “arf arf” most people imagine is really the call of a sea lion, a close cousin. Seal pups call to their mothers so they can be found on a crowded beach.
Try it together
Cup your hands round your mouth and give a long, wobbly “aoooo” like a seal on a rock.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
