Deer sounds for kids
SaysMeh-eh
What sound does a deer make?
A deer bleats, grunts and barks. A baby deer, called a fawn, makes a soft bleat to call its mother. In autumn, big male red deer called stags roar loudly, and when deer spot danger they snort or bark before bounding away.
Try it together
Make a soft “meh-eh” like a fawn, then leap away with big deer jumps.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
