Elephant sounds for kids
SaysPaaawoo
What sound does an elephant make?
An elephant trumpets by blowing air hard through its trunk. Elephants trumpet when they are excited, surprised or upset. They also talk in deep rumbles, some of which are so low that people cannot hear them at all, yet other elephants can sense them kilometres away.
Try it together
Make a trunk with your arm in front of your nose and trumpet as loud as you can.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
