Wolf sounds for kids
SaysAwoooo
What sound does a wolf make?
A wolf howls: awoooo! Wolves howl to find each other and to gather their pack, and the sound can travel more than ten kilometres. When a family of wolves howls together, each wolf sings a slightly different note. Wolves don’t howl at the moon; they just tip their heads up to send the sound further.
Try it together
Tip your heads back and howl together like a wolf family, each on a different note.
One animal, drawn three ways
Every card in Kidster comes in three styles. Some children love the cartoon, others recognise the real animal sooner. A parent picks the style in the Parent Zone, and the sound stays the same.
